The construction activities as part of the shared interim basic services (IBS) installation to all of the 23 informal settlement areas that form part of the Mossel Bay UISP Project, reached a huge milestone today!

The first infrastructure that have been constructed at Brandwacht was handed over to the Mossel Bay Municipality on Thursday 25 July 2019.

The infrastructure installed at Brandwacht included the installation of 5 new toilets, the rectification of 5 existing toilets as well as the provision of 3 stand pipes.

This will make a huge difference in the quality of life of the residents living in the Riemvasmaak informal settlement at Brandwacht.
