A well-attended meeting was called by the Mossel Bay Municipality and Zutari, the Implementing Agent of the UISP on the 14th of September at the KwaNonqaba Community Hall. The focus of the meeting was to inform the community about the current status of the project, the way forward, and to elect additional members of the Beneficiary Liaison Committee (BLC). Five new BLC members were elected. A total of twelve BLC members in Emfuleni will represent approximately 600 beneficiary households. The BLC members will represent the community at the Informal Settlement Forum, workshops, and meetings that will capacitate them with the latest updates of the UISP to share with the Emfuleni Community.
