Community champions (BLC Leaders) took the initiative to provide cooked meals for the informal settlement community. With donations made by DAG and Aurecon, DAG assisted the leaders to add to purchase supplies and thereby extended their reach.

The money that was donated was split between Wolwedans B, Brandwacht and Ruiterbos as well as for airtime for the 16 leaders.
